URGENT NOTICE

ATTENTION: CCMA USERS, STRATEGIC PARTNERS AND STAKEHOLDERS

SUBJECT: TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE CCMA’S MBOMBELA OFFICE DUE TO PROTESTS

The CCMA wishes to inform its Users and Stakeholders that its Mbombela (Nelspruit) Office will be closed today, Wednesday, 06 July 2022 due to protest action that is underway in the neighbouring area resulting in the blockage of all roads leading to the Central Business District (CBD).

Considering this development, please note that cases that were scheduled for today, 06 July 2022, at the Mbombela Office located on 25 Samora Machel in the Sanlam Centre Building will be re-scheduled. However, cases scheduled for hearing in alternative venues outside the above-mentioned CCMA office will proceed as scheduled, including matters scheduled on virtual platforms.

Users may still make referrals and applications using the CCMA’s digital case referral and application platform, accessible via the CCMA website, Facebook page and directly via this link https://cmsonline.ccma.org.za. Alternatively, users can download the CCMA mobile application; the CCMAConnect. Users can also send case-related queries or refer disputes by sending an email to: wtb@ccma.org.za and by using the following facsimile (Fax) number 013 656 2885/6.

The CCMA is closely monitoring the situation and will advise CCMA Users accordingly.
