ATTENTION: CCMA USERS, STRATEGIC PARTNERS AND STAKEHOLDERS
SUBJECT: NOTICE OF TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE CCMA CAPE TOWN OFFICE
The CCMA wishes to advise Users and Stakeholders that its Cape Town office in the Western Cape Province will be temporarily closed today, 07 August 2023 with immediate effect, due to the ongoing protests by the South African Taxi Association within the region.
Due to the potential threat to the physical safety of CCMA Users and Staff please note that cases that were scheduled for today, 07 August 2023 at the Cape Town office will be postponed. Any other cases scheduled for hearing in alternative venues outside the Cape Town office or on virtual platforms will proceed as scheduled.
Users may still make referrals and applications using the CCMA’s digital case referral and application platform, accessible via the CCMA website, Facebook page and directly via this link https://cmsonline.ccma.org.za. Alternatively, users can download the CCMA mobile application; the CCMAConnect. Users can also send case-related queries or refer disputes by sending an email to: ctn@ccma.org.za and by using the following telephone number 021- 469-0111.
The CCMA is closely monitoring the situation and will advise CCMA Users accordingly of any new developments in this matter.
