SUBJECT: COLLABORATIVE WORKSHOPS ON CCMA AMENDED RULES AND FORMS
The Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) in collaboration with the Van Zyl, Rudd & Association will from Monday, 15 May 2023 kick-off a series of workshops on the amended CCMA Rules and Forms with the aim to capacitate Users and interested parties on the changes made.
The amended Rules and Forms, which took effect on 24 April 2023 following their promulgation on 21 April 2023, were informed by the need to ensure alignment to significant case law, practice and procedure changes within the CCMA as well as to ensure compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
The workshops will take a hybrid format comprising of an in-person and online attendance and will be coordinated by the CCMA Director, Advocate Cameron Sello Morajane and Dr Brian Van Zyl, Director of Van Zyl, Rudd & Associates.
