SUBJECT: JOINT STATEMENT BY ORGANISED LABOUR AND THE CITY OF TSHWANE

In the continuing effort to find a solution to the dispute between SAMWU, IMATU and the City of Tshwane, parties met on 27 February 2024 in continuation of the section 150 intervention under the auspices of the CCMA.

Parties wish to confirm that the City of Tshwane tabled a proposal which is currently under consideration by Labour. Labour will respond to the employer’s proposal by no later than 6 March 2024 and the City of Tshwane will respond to Labour by no later than 15 March 2024.

The mediation continues again on 22 March 2024.

The Parties wish to restate their continuing commitment to the Section 150 intervention.
