Subject: CCMA Launches CCMAConnect (mobile application)
As a responsive and modern organisation, with an obligation of wanting to better connect with its Users, the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) has launched in December 2019 its mobile application, named the CCMAConnect, which enables Users to connect with the CCMA in a more convenient and quicker way, at any time of the day.
The CCMA Director, Mr Cameron Morajane, said: “The CCMA is a world - class institution, and thus its processes must demonstrate that. It is anticipated that the CCMAConnect will add value to all CCMA Users by increasing accessibility to case related information, without necessarily having to contact the CCMA Call Centres.
At its first phase, the CCMAConnect allows Users to check the status of their case, register a complaint or a compliment, and be navigated to the nearest CCMA Office. All presentations from CCMA events will also be available on the mobile application, with Users being able to also see all upcoming CCMA outreach programmes and events. The second phase will include the CCMA Information Hub and Library, as well as education and training material.
The CCMA will also issue advisory and information from the mobile application, and run customer service surveys, however, the mobile application will not replace formal communication from the CCMA’s Case Management Officers and Commissioners to Users on case related matters.
The CCMAConnect is downloadable from android and iOS.
